Novus Mundus : A campaign setting, a promise.

In my career as a Dungeon Master, I have committed pretty much every single sin imaginable to derail the continuity of the game.  I've fudged numbers, allowed myself to get bored, made DMPCs, brought outside issues in-game, tortured my players, and worst of all, took myself too seriously.

Now, as I am I ready to change gears and move in to a new life in a new school, I have decided to make D&D part of my routine.  Crafting my own campaign setting while relying on the rules system of Pathfinder should allow me to not be so bogged down in mechanics and instead focus more on my writing, and of course, doting to the needs of my players.

The first evening I hope to play is the second Friday in January, which is January 14th.  Starting at 5pm.  Kelsey has been gracious enough to offer to host, but I hope to also pepper this with bouts to Bloomfield and Geneva.

The game itself is going to be decidedly Pathfinder, with full backwards compatibility with 3.5.  All 3.5 material has to be run by me, first.

Any race goes, just let me know first so I can work them into the world.

Stats are my standard Elite+ array. (10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17.)

Information on the world itself to follow.
